Base plate (BP)
The Base Plate in the Starlex DHB Eco-system is as its name defines, the part that will be at the base of the whole Starlex DHB Eco-system to hold the hot-end under the heat sink or extruder.
Central diameter of this base plate will need to be selected accordingly to the heat sink or extruder fixing hole you will mount it on. It can be a screw or a cylinder mount, many options are available.
Make sure the threaded length can tighten the Base plate. Shorter HSC would fit most heat sink, Bowden tube will need to go all way down to the HSC.
Metric thread or Diameter for this part is the same dimension.
Dx L the L means lock, there is a flat groove into the central hole to hold the Base Plate in position. Fine when the Heat Sink is threaded and circular, otherwise, orientation needs to be free, without this flat groove.
All Swiss3Dc designed parts are made and CNC machined in Switzerland, standard parts can be imports.
