Redefined heat sinks length are designed to accommodate the additional height introduced by the system keeping the original overall length.

Heat blocks

Heat blocks are available in three lengths: 22.5mm, 24mm, and 33mm and two diameters, 2.5 and 3mm depending on the Nozzle material. Heater & thermistor NOT included.

Nozzle

Choose the nozzle with corresponding length and diameter, in Hardened Stainless Steel, Brass or Copper.

Heaters & connectors

Choose one or two heaters for the heat blocks with the matching connectors for your printer and bulb thermistor.

Heat Sink Connector Spacer

In red, (2) this specific part is needed when an original heat sink / direct drive is used to adapt the Starlex DHB hot-end to it. Usually 1.5mm height.

To integrate the Starlex DHB hot-end, both sides of the heat blocks need to move freely. Between the Heat Sink (1) and the Base Plate (3), a space (O) is necessary to give freedom to the heaters side movement.

The HSC (4) needs to be adapted for this extra space.

The spacer can be a cylinder or a machined aluminium plate, depending on Heat Sink and Heat Sink Connector size.

Select the correct Heat Sink Connector (HSC), and the corresponding Heat Sink Connector Spacer (HSCS), central hole must match.
