Heat Sink Connector Spacer (HSCS)

In red, (2) this specific component is essential when integrating the Starlex DHB hot-end with an original heat sink or direct drive. A standard height of 1.5mm is typically required for proper adaptation.

For effective integration of the Starlex DHB hot-end, it is imperative that both sides of the heat blocks are capable of unrestricted movement. A designated space (O) between the Heat Sink (1) and the Base Plate (3) is necessary to facilitate the required mobility of the heaters.

Additionally, the Heat Sink Connector (HSC) (4) must be appropriately modified to accommodate this extra space.

The spacer can be designed as either a cylindrical element or a machined aluminum plate, depending on the dimensions of the Heat Sink and Heat Sink Connector.

It is important to select the correct Heat Sink Connector (HSC) along with the corresponding Heat Sink Connector Spacer (HSCS), ensuring that the central hole is accurately aligned. This meticulous approach will enhance the overall functionality and efficiency of your assembly.
